Survival

A world that stays. No reset, no hearts at stake. You claim land, build, trade and settle – and next month your house is still standing. Fighting is allowed, but it is not the point.

Survival opens

How to get thereJoin

The world

Big, permanent, yours

  • 25,000blocks wide is the overworld, ±12,500 from the centre
  • 0resets – the world stays as long as the server does
  • 5homes per player, plus /tpa to friends
  • 80,000claim blocks you can earn

The Nether is 3,125 blocks wide (1:8), the End as large as the overworld. Difficulty is normal, monsters spawn as usual. Up to 100 players fit on the server.

Getting there

Through the lobby

Everyone lands in the lobby after connecting. Survival is one gate away.

  1. 1

    Connect

Java and Bedrock: mc.craftcrowd.de. Bedrock also needs port 19132.

  2. 2

    Find the gate

The Survival gate is on the west wall of the acropolis hall – the one framed in lime-green glass. Walk through.

  3. 3

    Or type it

/survival takes you there from anywhere on the network.

Until the opening the gate says “opening soon” – the world is ready, but closed until then.

Claims

What you build stays yours

Land is protected with claims. Inside your claim nobody can break, build, hurt your animals or open your chests unless you let them. Players themselves are not protected there – see the questions below.

Start

Your first chest

Place your first chest and a small area around it is claimed for you automatically. That is enough to get started.

Tools

Golden shovel, stick

With a golden shovel you click two opposite corners to claim land or resize a claim. A stick shows you whose land you are standing on.

Grow

Playing earns land

You start with 100 claim blocks and earn 100 more for every hour you play, up to 80,000. A claim is at least 5 blocks wide. Need more? /buyclaimblocks sells them for crowns.

Friends

Let people in

/trust lets a friend build in your claim, /untrust takes it back. /abandonclaim gives the land up.

  • Overworld only. In the Nether and the End there are no claims – what you build there is not protected.
  • Protection without a claim, too. Fire does not spread or burn blocks, and creepers do not blow holes into the surface.
  • Inactive land is freed. If you have not played for 60 days, your claims expire – unless you have earned 10,000 claim blocks or more.

Getting around

Homes and teleports

/sethome · /home
Up to five homes. Inside someone else's claim you need their permission.
/tpa · /tpahere
Ask to teleport to a player, or ask them to come to you.
/tpaccept · /tpdecline
Accept or decline a request.
/tpignore
Stop requests from one player.
/spawn
Back to the spawn.

Every teleport takes 5 seconds; moving or taking damage cancels it, and for 15 seconds after a hit nobody teleports away. There is no random teleport, no /back and no warps – travelling is part of the game, and nobody escapes a fight with a command.

Frequently asked

Will the Survival world be reset?

No. That is the point of it. The world is backed up every night, so a crash does not cost you your builds.

Can I be killed on Survival?

Yes, technically anywhere – inside claims and at spawn too. Where nobody gets attacked is settled by agreement: spawn, the market and the safe spaces players mark themselves. Breaking that gets reported and the team sorts it out. Your claim still protects your blocks and chests, and only you can pick up what you drop when you die. More: safe spaces and roleplay.

Is there money on Survival?

Yes, crowns. You earn them by playing and trade with them in chest shops, at the auction house or with /pay. Your Survival crowns stay; they are separate from Lifesteal. All of it: economy.

Is there a map?

The server draws one, but it is not public yet. The map in the browser shows the Lifesteal season world for now.

Is there voice chat?

Yes, proximity voice chat as on the season. It comes with the modpack.

Do the server rules apply here too?

Yes, the server rules apply on every server.
